- Genlias - Zoek uw stamboom uit / Research your Dutch genealogy (click on English at top right to change language)This is a big collection of BMD info for the Netherlands and also the Netherlands Antilles.Read the information under Searching in Genlias first, as it explains how to search, what you can expect to find, etc. Also explains about Dutch names, e.g. not to enter “de”, “van”, “van der”, etc. in the surname box. Also gives hints for searching, such as clicking on “Begins with” to search for variations in spelling, etc. In that case you have to enter at least the 1st 3 characters of a name.You can also search by “role” to find children of the same parents, etc.
