My Grandparents were married at St Johns Parish Church, Ipswich, on 5 March 1917.

This was typical dress for a working class wedding.

If the groom was in the forces then he would wear his uniform not a suit. Submitted by Katarzyna

The bridesmaids are wearing very simply cut dresses and the elder ones are wearing mopcaps instead of hats. Submitted by Katarzyna

Amelia and Percy married at East Wittering, it was a double wedding, her sister Annie married on the same day.
