A beautiful, historical border county, with more castles than in any other English county -

Alnwick, Bamburgh, Warkworth and many, many more.

With outstanding coastline from Lindisfarne and Holy Island in the North, to beaches South to Tynemouth Priory as well as Hadrian's Wall and Keilder Water, the largest man-made lake in Europe, there is plenty for visitors to see.

It is the home land of many famous people St.Cuthbert and St. Aidan, Admiral Lord Collingwood, Thomas Bewick, Capability Brown and father of the railways, George Stephenson.
