The Channel Islands are a group of 5 inhabited islands, namely Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm, situated between France and England on the edge of the English Channel. The Channel Islands have been a British Crown Dependency since 1066 and are known world wide for their locally grown flowers, their new potatoes and their cattle which produce the famous Channel Islands dairy products.
