I've been researching my family tree for only a shot time, and already I've found out quite a lot! (Thanks to lots of help from other enthusiasts.)
I'm searching for information on these families:- BANKS from Ireland (maybe originally from Scotland); BANKS MILLER, MOULTON from Lancs and Cheshire; COX, PLATER, HITCHENOR, SHELBY from Staffordshire; COX, HALL, LAMBDEN, WYNN, from Hants and Berks; SYMES from anywhere near Bournemouth.
I'm also trying to trace my father's WW2 RAF service records, but without his service number, I've hit a brick wall. Anyone got any ideas?
