I've been researching my family tree for only a relatively short time (started in Feb 07), and with lots of help from other enthusiasts I've already found out quite a bit. However, some of my 'branches' are a bit sparse and any further information would be very welcome.

Hello, and welcome to my 'user page'!

I've been researching my family tree for only a relatively short time (started in Feb 07), and with lots of help from other enthusiasts I've already found out quite a bit. However, some of my 'branches' are a bit sparse and any further information would be very welcome.

I'm searching for information on these families:- BANKS from Ireland (maybe originally from Scotland); BANKS, MILLER, MOULTON from Lancs and Cheshire; COX, PLATER, HITCHENOR, SHELBY from Staffordshire mainly; COX, DAY, HALL, KNIGHT, LAMBDEN, MURRELL, WYNN, from Hants and Berks; SYMES (the mystery g'father!) from anywhere near Bournemouth.

I'm also willing to share information with other 'distant cousins' - or even not so distant!

I'm also trying to trace my father's WW2 RAF service records, but without his service number I've hit a brick wall. Anyone got any ideas?
