Through my gt grandfather DANIEL BREWERTON 1840 I have traced back to WILLIAM BREWERTON c1765 my Gt. X 3.Grandfather. His first entry is via his marriage to MARY PIERCY 1763 in Shotwick, Cheshire in 1784. They moved to Hawarden, Flintshire and started the BREWERTON tribe. The surnames of my English Gt.grandparents are BREWERTON, BROUGHTON, WILKES and HOMER. My Scottish Gt. grandparents are FREW, HILL, McDOUGALL and GEMMELL.

My husband ROD also became interested with the 1901. His main names are ATKINS, EVANS, WILLIAMS, WHEELER, RADNOR and HOLLYMAN. His earliest Atkins is JOHN ATKINS c1780 who is described on the 1841 census as being born in Oxfordshire but we cannot find his baptism. His earliest Evans is WILLIAM EVANS 1768 Bishops Castle, Shropshire.
