My parents were William Shipley Gough 1896-1966 and Doris Spencer Tomlinson 1903-1976, i had often wondered why they had unusual middle names. Welcome to my family page.
My parents were William Shipley Gough 1896-1966 and Doris Spencer Tomlinson 1903-1976, i had often wondered why they had unusual middle names. Since starting my journey into my family history, i have found out that "Shipley" was the maiden name of my father`s mother and "Spencer" was the maiden name of my mother`s grandmother.
