Herbert Edward Crisp (seated) served 1916-1919. This was taken in France, the back just has "Carte Postale" on. His unpolished boots are worn with the spurs which are still in his son's possession. The rough chair and visible floorboards suggest that the photo was taken under the difficult conditions of the time. |

This is a picture of winter coats worn by the Royal Army Service Corps in the 1940's. This picture was taken on New Years day 1945 in Italy. My grandfather is on the right, i have no idea who his 2 colleagues are. |
