Pictured is my husbands grandfather Peter Henry Harrison, who was a private in The Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.This picture was taken whilst he was a a Prisoner of War in a camp on the Russian / German border |

Herbert Edward Crisp (seated) served 1916-1919. This was taken in France, the back just has "Carte Postale" on. His unpolished boots are worn with the spurs which are still in his son's possession. The rough chair and visible floorboards suggest that the photo was taken under the difficult conditions of the time. |

Picture shows Francis Stanbridge who was killed in action in 1916. He was a private with the 1st Battalion Gordon Highlanders. He had joined the North Staffordshire regiment in 1914 and was discharged having been unfit to serve. |
