In the heart of the Midlands Region, Worcestershire has many attractions.
Worcester City is known as the Faithful City as it was the City that stood firm for King Charles during the Civil War. The Royal Worcester Porcelain factory has been in the city since 1751. The county has some outstanding beauty spots such as the Malvern Hills which inspired Sir Edward Elgar to write some of his most well known pieces of music. |
