Monzie

Monzie Kirk in parish of Monzie was built c1830 by Stirling, situated about a mile from Gilmerton and beside the Shaggie Burn and the old pack bridge, sometimes referred to as the Roman Bridge. Believed to have been dedicated to St Lawrence.

Muthill

Opened in the 1820's The Parish Church, Muthill was constucted after an ancient church within Muthill was deemed to small. The older building still stands, albeit without a roof or glazing amidst gravestones dating back to the 1700's. The photographs can't quite show the layout of the new church, a simple rectangular building fronted by a tower, although the church sits within the village it is bounded by grassy fields.
