Snow in Keele submitted by Just Gillian

Staffordshire

County town: Stafford

Other major towns: Stoke on Trent, Wolverhampton, Walsall

In the heart of England, Staffordshire is the home of the world-renowned English pottery industry. The countryside is varied with the windswept Staffordshire moorlands in the north and the beautiful parkland of Cannock Chase in the south.

Tamworth in the south boasts the Snowdome, Europe's first real snow indoor ski-slope, and the internationally famous theme park Alton Towers is hidden in the midst of beautiful peaceful countryside near the quiet market town of Leek in the north.
