Etal
Now known as St Mary the Virgin this building within the grounds of Etal Manor was built as a mortuary chapel for Lord Frederick Fitzclarence. Lord Frederick (the son of the Duke of Clarence, later King William IV) died in 1854. and is buried in the side chapel along with his daughter.
The building is one of several by the same builder, including the earlier Perth Cathedral and the later Rugby School.
