Greyfriar Parish Church is a Gothic styled building of 1875. Attributed to architect William Leiper and comprising five bays (the first of which has the lower roofline visible and incorporates the door shown in the image). The main walls are constructed with snecked rubble and ashlar dressings to windows and doors provide decoration. The base of the tower is square, a clever transition to an octagonal shape is topped by a spire with alternate decorated and undecorated faces.
