Dalry
Dalry Parish Church, designed by architect William McCandlish and completed in 1831 to replace the old ruin of 1771. A simple but attractive building with a three stage tower and dressed stone to frame the high windows. It is approached by a fine avenue of lime trees and has beautiful views down Loch Ken and over the Rhinns of Kells. Inside is the Gordon Aisle, burial place of the Gordons of Lochinvar. The graveyard has a Covenanter stone.
