Etal

Now known as St Mary the Virgin this building within the grounds of Etal Manor was built as a mortuary chapel. Lord Frederick FitzClarence along with his daughter are buried in the side chapel. The son of the Duke of Clarence (later King William IV), Lord Frederick died in 1854.
The building is one of several by the same builder, including the earlier Perth Cathedral and the later Rugby School.
