HOLDEN - any time, anywhere, any place. I am doing an unofficial one name study. WHITTAKER - Lancashire (Blackley, Harpurhey) BELL - Lancashire (Blackley - had the Derby Arms Pub in Barnes Green for 50 years, 1850-1900) GRIMSHAW - from the Isle of Man.
GREEN - Gawsworth, Cheshire TRAFFORD - ditto STUBBS - ditto ROBINSON LAWTON etc - in fact any family with long links to Gawsworth.
My Scottish branch: CRAIG WYNESS NISBETT/NESBITT BONNYMAN GRAY NICOL DOUGLASS and others, all around the Aberdeen area, heavily focussed on Nigg, Inverurie, Torry and Portsoy.
