I've been researching my family history for about 6 years now and am doing both my maternal birth line and my OH's paternal line, so I have a variety of surname interests scattered all over the country.

Some have been more successful than others. My birth surname was JONES which has caused a few hiccups along the way, but finally seems to be progressing nicely, thanks to some rather unusual middle names given to some of the children and the fact that, at the moment, they aren't actually Welsh!
