Cortachy and Clova

Built by the 7th Earl of Airlie Cortachy Church is a relatively modern building. Completed in 1828 on the site of an earlier building this small church can seat around 300 people thanks largely to a gallery which increases the capacity. There are a few interesting gravestones within the churchyard, one features the outline of a sword and buckler, the earliest stones are contemporary to the church dating to 1828.
