Balmaclellan
Balmaclellan Church is now a "T" plan layout, the main part of the church dates to the 1750's, the North Aisle by William McCandlish is later addition completed during the 1830's. Stained glass in the west window was installed in the late 1920's. The churchyard features include a statue and plaque to commemorate Sir Walter Scott who came from Balmaclellan.
