Islington

  • St James, Pentonville is listed on a number of websites as having been demolished. It appears still to be there on Pentonville Road between Rodney Street and Cumming Street, though has now been converted to offices.
  • All Saints Battle Bridge, Caledonian Road – burned down 1975, remains demolished.
  • St John Highbury Park, Highbury Vale – demolished 1980s.
  • St Anne, Poole’s Park – demolished 1965.
  • St Barnabas, Harvist Road, Hornsey Road – closed 1947, demolished 1966.
  • St Bartholomew, Shepperton Road, New North Road - demolished c1970.
  • St Stephen, Elthorne Road- demolished 1983.
  • St. John the Baptist, Cleveland Road, Highbury New Park – demolished c1981.
  • St. Michael, Bingfield Street, Caledonian Road – demolished early 1980s.
  • St. Paul, Kingsdown Road – demolished 1953.
  • St. Philip the Evangelist, Arlington Square – demolished 1953.
