My two main lines are Woodcock and Woodley.
The Woodcock line harks from the Midlands especially Dudley/Halesowen/West Bromwich.... in Worcs/Staffs & Broseley/Madeley.... in Shrops/Salop ~1730+. They were miners and iron workers...
The Woodley line harks from Lewisham, Kent/London & Walthamstow, Essex and originally from Stansted Mountfitchet/Manuden/Bentfield/Widdington.... in Essex ~1600s. They were lucky enough to be wealthy (back then!) and were brewers and maltsters...
