Gas Light & Coke Company Centenary Medal. Submitted by Sue from Southend	My Great Grandfather was a Lamplighter in the East End of London for more than 20 years (1891, 1901 and 1911 census') In 1912 he received a medal from his employers, The Gas Light and Coke Company, commemorating their Centenary.
