Paddington

  • Former Christ Church, Lancaster Gate suffered bomb damage during World War II, the body of the church also had exensive dry rot which led to its eventual demolition. The tower remains and forms part of a development of flats built in the 1980s.
  • All Saints, Norfolk Sq – closed 1919, demolished 1961.
  • St Paul, Marlborough Place, Harrow Road (also known as Christ Church) - demolished by 1959.
  • St Michael and All Angels, Prescott Street/Star Street – demolished late 1960s.
  • St Luke, (Tavistock Road) Westbourne Park – demolished by 1963.


Poplar

  • St Frideswide, East India Dock Road - demolished.
  • St John, Manchester Rd, Cubitt Town - demilished.
  • St Nicholas, Blackwall Stairs – bombed 1940.
