Haywards Heath

The whole of the former Victorian mental hospital has been redeveloped as apartments, the chapel is now a day nursery. A number of graves of inmates remain in another part of the hospital complex.

Closed in Summer 2008, and is to be let as office space. It forms part of the former st Wilfrid's school Infant Department.

The church closed in 2003 and is now used as a base for the WRVS meals on wheels service.

The church is now in private hands.

The church is open daily, on road parking available in Church Road. There is a Garden of Remembrace for cremated remains, burials for the last 100 years have been at the town cemetery at Western Road.

Woodmancote Church is a locked Church, it is situated south of the village. The Church yard is kept neat and tidy.

Hove

is under threat of demolition (2008).

  • St Patricks is well known in the area as a night shelter for the homeless of Brighton and Hove.
