My two main lines are Woodcock and Woodley.
The Woodcock line harks from the Midlands ~1730s, and places of interest are especially Dudley/Halesowen/West Bromwich.... in Worcs/Staffs & Broseley/Madeley.... in Shrops/Salop. They were miners and iron workers...
The Woodley line harks from Essex ~1600s, and places of interest are especially Catford/Lewisham in Kent/London & Send/Feltham/Epsom/Kingston-upon-Thames in Surrey & Walthamstow/Leyton and originally from Stansted Mountfitchet/Manuden/Bentfield/Widdington.... in Essex. They were lucky enough to be wealthy (back then!) and were brewers and maltsters...
