I am searching for any information about the parents of William Barber - born in Cubbington, Warwickshire in 1801. This gentleman was my great, great grandfather.
He later moved to Wales, married an Ann Nurse(b.1824) and settled in the village of Penderyn, Breconshire. He worked in the local Ironworks.
He and Ann had the following children - John Barber (b.1844), James Barber (b.1846), Sarah Jane Barber (b.1848) and William Barber (b.1850).
Members of this family later settled in Aberdare, Glamorgan and worked in the Coal Mining Industry.
I would be pleased to hear from anybody who has any information regarding this family or their descendants.
