Lincolnshire
A predominantly agricultural county on the east coast of England, historically stretching from the Wash in the south to the Humber Estuary in the north.
The scenery is diverse, ranging from flat fenlands in the south to the hilly Wolds and the Lincoln Edge in the north. Lincoln Cathedral is one of the finest medieval buildings in the country. Margaret Thatcher was born at Grantham. John Wesley, founder of Methodism, was born at Epworth. |
